Villa San Andrea (Villa S.Andrea)
Located in the ancient Borgo di Fabbrica, a historic farm estate with buildings dating back to medieval times (11th century). Estates: 600 hectares total estate in Chianti Classico region, with over 50 hectares dedicated to vineyards at approximately 250 meters elevation with optimal sun exposure. Rolling hills of Chianti Classico with characteristic Tuscan soils. Primarily Sangiovese (95% in Chianti Classico) with small additions of Merlot and international varieties. Temperature-controlled vinification; medium-long maceration. Historic cellars carved into rock, using oak barrels and small barriques. Produces Chianti Classico DOCG, Vinsanto, and excellent extra virgin olive oil from 8,000+ olive trees. Part of the “Fabbrica-Santa Cristina” wildlife reserve.
