Le Crocine
A recently established boutique winery founded by Niccolò Marzichi Lenzi (also Chief Executive at Tenuta di Biserno) and managed by his wife Joy Marzichi Lenzi. Niccolò’s passion for wine began in 1993 when tasting Château Haut-Brion 1982, and after working internationally, he founded his personal family project in Bolgheri, where his family has lived for generations. The estate focuses on expressing Bolgheri terroir through carefully crafted Bordeaux varieties.
Estates: Boutique production from vineyards in the Lamentano hill near Castagneto Carducci. Varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Wines include Le Crocine (flagship Bordeaux blend), Le Crocine 57022 (80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot), and Cuvée Eva (100% organic Cabernet Franc from single vineyard). Hand harvesting with careful grape selection; artisanal production focused on freshness, finesse, and character.
