Compagnia del vino
Founded in 1997 by Giancarlo Notari after over 30 years at Marchesi Antinori. The Notari family has been in the wine business since post-WWII, starting with grandfather Vannuccio’s wine shop in Florence. Giancarlo’s son Saverio Notari, an oenologist with international experience, joined in 1999 and now leads the company. A partnership between the Notari Family and Marchesi Antinori SPA, the company was one of the first to invest in high-quality Prosecco with their “Col de’ Salici” brand. In 2009, they added the Grillesino winery in Maremma. Since 2015, they distribute prestigious brands including Champagne Pol Roger and wines of Marchese Lodovico Antinori.
Estates: The Grillesino estate comprises approximately 20 hectares in Magliano in Toscana, Maremma (purchased 1999/2000). Functions primarily as a distribution company representing selected wine families with important history and territorial identity, focusing on small to medium-sized family wineries where artisanal production characterizes winemaking.
